We appreciate your interest and support.
As has been well documented in the press, the economics of book publishing, and art books in particular have been dramatically eroded to the point where very few artists can have their lives and works properly documented and celebrated.
This situation is what led to the idea of The Artist Book Foundation, a 501(C)3 nonprofit that leverages donations to sponsor the creation and celebration of these important records. We depend upon your tax-deductible donations to support our mission of celebrating the life and work of artists through publications, events and educational programs. Donors have provided cash and financial instruments such as stocks as donations, as well as direct payments from private foundations and IRA accounts.
Book Donations: We are always seeking art book collections and individual book donations to our library archive of artist monographs and catalogue raisonnés as well as selected exhibition and collection reviews. Please contact us to discuss and make arrangements.
In addition, loaned and donated artwork can used to fund specific fundraising projects.
The Artist Book Foundation generates only a small portion of its annual budget through the sale of books, we depend upon donations to fund our mission.
