The Younger Artist Series

This biennial award celebrates mid-career work through the publication of a first monograph of a chosen artist under the age of 50 worthy of greater exposure. A committee of distinguished artists, art critics, and other members of the art community determine the award recipient. We are seeking sponsors for this program. Please contact us if interested.

The Library Donation Program

The Artist Book Foundation believes in a serious and directed library donation program, consisting of approximately 10 percent of each print run to underserved public, art, and university libraries in the Unites States and abroad to ensure our richly illustrated and engaging content is available to all who are interested. We do this both directly and through The Distribution to Underserved Communities Library Program (D.U.C.)

The Archive at tabf

To sustain and protect important information regarding contemporary and modern art through the work of visual artists, the Foundation is establishing an archive, both print and digital, to include artists’ monographs and catalogues raisonnés. The archive will house publications dating from 1880. We have and continue to accept donations of individual items and collections as well as funds to support cataloging and digitization.
